We’ve been going full steam ahead for some time, now. There is some HVAC work going on, to get the unit updated for the parsonage and it’s getting close to being done.
Evans and I went mid-October to Lancaster, PA, to the Global Awakening: Voice of the Apostle’s conference & it was So refreshing and we learned a lot! It was SO much teaching to take in, but we got the DVD’s so we can try to glean more of what we heard, and share it with the congregation.
It is SO important to know that we are God’s children. He is our Daddy and loves us unconditionally. We have been adopted into His family, and He wants to develop that relationship with us and be close to His children. We need to get to know Him as our Daddy, and learn to come to Him at all times. Not just when we need something. Remember how it feels as a parent to have your kids only come to you, asking for something. It’s nice to have them come to say “I love you,” and “I just want to hang out with you for a while.” Well, God likes it when we come to just love on and hang out with Him, too!
Take the time today, and everyday to love on your wonderful heavenly Father and spend time with Him!
