Woke up the other day, had some devotional time with my Father, then went to check my email and my dear sweet husband had sent me the same verse that was used in the devotional.

2 Corinthians 2:14  “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in His triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.”

I figuerd that since I got the same verse two times in a couple of hours that I should ponder it for a little bit. Who wouldn’t like to be led in His triumph, right? It looks like he leads the grateful (or thankful) in His triumph. Then he manifests THROUGH us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him! The next paragraph is the thoughts from the devotional.

“When people  beheld the Lord’s perfectly balanced personality and flawless character they received a glimpse of the beauty of what God the Father is like. It was Chrsit’s great joy to reveal His Father. You and I have the same priviledge and responsibility. The Spirit of God leads us into triumph and victory so that we can manifest the sweet aroma of the knowledge of God everywhere we go.”

I am so grateful for God leading us to victory. He does so, when we place our hope and trust in him. I pray that the Lord will keep me to be a sweet smelling savor to the world around me because of Your love, which permeates my being.

My prayer is to be so full of the Father’s presence that I carry his aroma and fragrance every where I go!

Well, I have been unemployed since the end of the first week of January. I have almost definitely been busier since I was laid off, than I was before! I have done a good deal of house cleaning (that I wanted to do) still have some that needs to be done. I have also been knitting and sewing and taxi driver for a couple of my kids. I have also been honing my culanary skills. =]

I have continued to keep praying about the job situation, and the family situation, and I keep hearing “Trust Me”. Occasionally I wake up to songs like “All the Way My Savior Leads Me” sung by Chris Tomlin, or “Great Is Thy Faithfulness”.

I have had occasion over the last few months to be a large part of my granddaughter’s life. It’s been a great joy (and so exhausting). I definitely have enjoyed it. She’s a joy!

We’ve had some great services at church over the last few months, too. The Lord allowed us to find the needed piece to successfully record our services to a hard drive. Now, we just need the way to convert the files to an mp3, so that we can burn them to a CD.

I believe that we are so close to God moving! We are having our normal service on Sunday AM, with dinner and an egg hunt for the kids, here at my house! I am looking forward to it! I believe that something good is about to happen, and I can’t wait to see what it is; because I KNOW God is moving!
